Our Story

Rooted in Ezel, Kentucky.

Keaton Farms started with a small herd, three bottle calves, and the belief that cattle deserve room, patience, and honest care. Two decades later, that hasn't changed.

The Keaton Way

Keaton Farms began in 2002, with a small herd and three bottle calves. It was hard work, long days, and steady patience — but every sunrise brought another step forward, and the foundation was built from there.

Today the Keaton family manages 500 acres of native pasture, a herd of 100 head, and a cow/calf and feeder operation built on relationships and honest dealing.

What we stand for

Animal welfare first

Low-stress handling, generous pasture rotation, and honest health protocols on every head.

Honest documentation

Vaccinations and health history are always shared — before a sale, not after.

Long relationships

Most of our buyers have been with us for a decade or more. We plan on the next ten.
