Our Story
Rooted in Ezel, Kentucky.
Keaton Farms was started with 40 acres, one bull, and the belief that cattle deserve room, patience, and honest care. Four decades later, that hasn't changed.

The Keaton Way
Founded by Ronald Keaton in 1984, our farm has grown from a modest cow-calf operation into a trusted source for quality cattle — without losing the family-first values it started with.
Today the Keaton family manages 500 acres of native pasture, a herd of 450+ head, and a small direct-to-family beef program that keeps quality tight and buyers close.
What we stand for
Animal welfare first
Low-stress handling, generous pasture rotation, and vet-verified health protocols on every head.
Honest documentation
EPDs, vaccinations, and lineage are always shared — before a sale, not after.
Long relationships
Most of our buyers have been with us for a decade or more. We plan on the next ten.
